To troubleshoot this issue, try the following steps:
1. Check Physical Volume Detection
Use the following commands to verify if the physical volumes are detected by the system:
``` fdisk -l pvscan -vv ```2. Use -vv Parameter
Add the -vv
parameter to the lvscan
, pvscan
, and vgscan
commands to increase the verbosity of the output and check for any additional information.
3. Check LVM Metadata
If lvmetad is being used to store LVM metadata, check if it is running and accessible:
``` systemctl status lvmetad lvmetad --monitor ```4. Rescan LVM Configuration
Manually rescan the LVM configuration by running the following commands:
